For regular plastics, we highly recommend buying a hobby printer, which in most cases is the same price as 1 professional print job.
For high end materials, there are online 3D print and ship companies that charge depending on the volume and material used. Wait time is usually 2-4 weeks.
We also offer some basic 3D printing services locally for those who absolutely need it. Contact us for more information.
We are based in Folsom, CA. We do not accept office visits other than to drop off or pick up parts and/or payments at the front desk during regular business hours.
We are in the process of moving our operations to Pollock Pines, but are in Folsom on an almost daily basis. There have however been some timing setbacks due to the recent Caldor fire.
We charge a base fee of 50$ for every project which includes up to an hour, and 50$ an hour thereafter.
We also provide free tutorials on our Youtube page for those who would like to learn to create models themselves. The app we use, Shapr3D, requires an Ipad compatible with Apple Pencil. They have now also added support for the new Mac and Windows computers.
We charge depending on how much time and plastic a project consumes. The type of plastic also makes a big difference. Some projects may be small but delicate, other projects may be big but simple. Each project is unique and therefore the pricing varies.
We primarily suggest customers purchase their own hobby printers. It pays off in the long run, but be warned that there is a steep learning curve.
For your safety, ours, and the things being printed, we do not allow customers in the printing facility. We recommend you visit our Youtube page where we have multiple resources on the subject and more to come In the future.
The original name we were going for was “We3D.“ The website was taken however, so we chose a unique alternative. What do we do? We do 3D. We3Doit!
